have roots in her secondary career as an elite marathon racer.
For nearly 15 years, Kelly trained and competed in events across the United
States, including a marathon in Japan. Her accolades include earning a
place in several US National Championship races, securing the title of
National Champion in the Masters Track 5000m, and narrowly missing a
spot on the US World Team in cross-country. Kelly's proudest achievements
include qualifying for two trips to the US Olympic Trials Marathon. Notably,
Kelly’s resilience was tested when she completed the Boston Marathon just
30 minutes before the terrorist attack in 2013. This experience has given
her a unique perspective on the impact of history on a generation and how
it shapes individuals.
Kelly not only seeks passion in her work but also dedicates her time to
volunteering for causes close to her heart. As a self-proclaimed "crazy dog
mom," she spends her spare moments volunteering at a local dog rescue.
Kelly holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Mass Communications from
Iowa State and an MBA from Globe University, a testament to her
commitment to continuous learning and growth. With a unique blend of
